About Me

Ben Mills was born in Norfolk into the family business of Drywall construction building houses and commercial buildings. From an early age, Ben thrived on education but decided to join his brothers, cousins, father, and uncles into the construction business.

After suffering a traumatic eye injury requiring two surgeries, Ben decided to take a real estate course and passed the real estate exam at the young age of 18 years old while recuperating. Ben returned to the construction field. Ben loved talking real estate and helping anyone with various financial situations make the best decisions. After encouragement from several who he helped, Ben decided to make real estate his career once and for all.

Ben has been a Realtor since 1994. Ben believes everyone has the ability to buy a home if that is what they really want. Ben has won the Spark Plug Award 4 times which is voted on by his colleagues for helping others and a having a great attitude and sense of humor. Ben obtained his Virginia Real Estate Broker's License in 2006 which is required to own or manage an office. Ben is a member of the Realtor/Lawyer Committee which discusses legal issues related to real estate. Ben is Bilingual in Spanish and studies several languages. Ben coaches his daughters soccer team in Kempsville.
